This app has come a long way since the 2000’s when it was mainly used in the classroom. Today you can get access to thousands of gamified academic quizzes and content right in your own home!

  • Math Dice Game

A simple and fun game to build math fluency! Kids throw the numbered dice and then the dice dice 😂 and then have to use ±-x / to come up with the sum! Pair this with a sibling and you’ve got some independent play!

Easily one of my favorite platforms! Whether you are looking a break from teaching math, or for some extra support with english homework, or just a fun class on knitting K-Pop Demon Hunter dolls, Outschool has your kiddo covered!

  • Mapology

A fun way to learn about the 50 states! Use the pins to learn about capitals and interesting facts! Pair it with this School Zone Travel Book and you’ve got a pretty fun learning experience. With little to no prep!

  • Big Life Journal

This journal is exactly what it says in the title! A journal about navigating through lifes problems as a kid! I loved it so much I bought one for me and my kiddo to go through together before bedtime!

Crunch Labs offers hands-on stem kits! Perfect for brains who need to stay activie while learning and that extra bit of dopamine to get to the next task! With ages 6-101 you’ll never run outta fun for the kids!

  • Joon

Okay so think Giga Pets 2.0! This app gives kiddos the task of taking care of an animal WHILE also getting their stuff done whild doing it! From teeth brushing, to bathing, to homework, it helps our kiddos develop skills and stay on top of their task!

  • You Choose Books!

So they literally get to choose what they would do as they read the story! You pick up survival tips while moving through a jungle, wilderness, earthquke, and more! A fun way to get your child reading and picking up some skills along the way!

  • Tiimo

Who doesn’t love options! If after checking out Joon, its not quite what you were looking for, try Tiimo! Its a visual calendar specifically designed for neurodiverse learners helping to build routines and independence! Women owned and tried and true!

  • Homeschool

This list was created for the kids who like things the way they like them, learn the way they want to learn, and just want the adults around them to get on board. It was also created for the adults who want to gently stretch their kids, build strong executive skills, and support their kids in expressing their needs while also respecting others who are doing the same.

This isn’t a curriculum, but it’s not just a brain break either. It’s a way to build skills and do a little bit of learning at the same time!

  • Afterschool

This list was also created for the neurodiverse kiddos who’ve been in the classroom most of the day, and come home tired, hungry, and needing a soft and safe space land. They are looking decompress before they can engage, and want a little bit of fun to go with their snack! It’s also for the adults who want their kiddos to be responsible, emotionally aware , and well regulated!

This isn’t homework, but it’s not just filling time either. It’s building new routines with new resources!
